Pembrokeshire Flying Club Fun Rally - Aim: To provide a flying challenge to fixed wing pilots that is both safe and FUN and raise awareness and funds for Prostate Cymru

    


Pembrokeshire Flying Club held its 5th Fun Rally on Saturday 23rd September 2017 

It involved a challenging 60 nm navigation competition in a very testing wind around the picturesque Pembrokeshire countryside and terminated with a powered spot landing.

Unfortunately due to the wind (and a failure to set an alarm clock!) only 6 of the 14 entrants were able to compete.

This year we were pleased to welcome three members of the British Precision Pilots Association (BPPA) who also entered having traveled from Eastern England and Guernsey. 

There was no entry fee and as we are raising awareness of Prostate Cancer we asked competitors to raise some funds for Prostate Cymru (amount to be announced).
